About

Nobody should have to learn a profession that is not their own.

HereBriefly is one tool with one job: to ask the questions your designer would have had to ask, and to write the answers down as a brief they can start from.

A note from the person who built it

I kept watching briefs get worse, and I do not think anyone stopped caring. You cannot know what you do not know about someone else’s profession, so the question your designer needs answered is usually the one you never had a reason to ask.

I built HereBriefly to ask it for you, in the order the work needs it, and to write the answers down as a brief a designer can start from. It takes about ninety seconds, and nobody has to learn a profession that is not their own.

What it will not do

Three things it refuses, and you can check all of them.

Every one of these could be reversed tomorrow to make the numbers look better. They hold because a brief you cannot trust is not worth ninety seconds.

No account, ever

Writing a brief, sending it, reading one and accepting one all work without one. Studios sign in because a dashboard is worth having when people brief you, and that is free too.

No model writes your brief

Every specification is worked out by rules you could read yourself, and no language model touches a brief. The page says what you said and nothing you did not.

Nothing follows you

No analytics script on any page, no tracking, no advertising, and no cookie at all unless a studio signs in. A brief is never sold, shared or used to train anything.

Who runs it

One person, in Copenhagen.
